Course Overview
The Comprehensive Botox Training course by the American Academy of Procedural Medicine (AAOPM) is designed for physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, and nurses seeking to incorporate botulinum toxin procedures into their practice. This hybrid program combines at-home online learning with in-person, hands-on workshops, allowing participants to master both the theoretical and practical aspects of Botox applications. The course covers cosmetic and medical uses of botulinum toxin, including treatment techniques for various facial areas and conditions such as bruxism and hyperhidrosis. Participants will engage in live patient training under the supervision of board-certified physicians, ensuring practical experience in administering injections. The program includes a Facial Anatomy Cadaver Course to enhance anatomical understanding. Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits are available upon completion. There are no prerequisites.
