Course Overview
The Advanced Dermal Filler 201: Cheeks course at the Texas Institute of Medical Aesthetics (TIMA) is a two-hour, one-on-one training session focused on advanced cheek augmentation techniques. Designed for medical professionals such as nurses and doctors with at least six months of injecting experience, this specialized program aims to enhance skills in midface contouring. Participants will receive comprehensive instruction covering patient assessment, product selection, and advanced injection strategies specific to cheek enhancement. The course includes the Cannula 101 training, ensuring a solid foundation in cannula techniques before progressing to more complex applications. Hands-on experience is a key component, with participants practicing on live models under the direct supervision of experienced instructors. All necessary products for the procedures are provided by TIMA. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. CE/CME credits are not currently offered for this course.
