Course Overview
The Tissue Filler Injectable Certification course at Texas Laser and Aesthetics Training Academy is an 8-hour in-person program designed to equip healthcare professionals with the fundamental skills necessary to offer hyaluronic acid tissue fillers in the mid-face and lips. The course begins with a 3-hour theoretical session led by experienced medical professionals, focusing on patient anatomy, vasculature, facial balance, and consultation techniques. Following the theoretical component, participants engage in hands-on practice by performing injections on live patients within a fully functioning med spa environment, with all necessary products provided by the academy. Eligibility for the hands-on component requires participants to be a Physician, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, or Licensed Vocational Nurse. Estheticians without a medical license may enroll to observe the hands-on procedures. Upon successful completion, participants receive a certification acknowledging their training. Please note that CE/CME credits are not currently offered for this course.
What to Expect
- Develop foundational knowledge of facial anatomy, vasculature, and patient consultation techniques essential for safe and effective filler treatments in the mid-face and lips.
- Receive in-depth instruction from experienced medical professionals during a three-hour didactic session focused on both clinical safety and aesthetic outcomes.
- Gain hands-on experience performing dermal filler injections on live patients within a fully functioning med spa environment, using real product provided by the academy.
- Learn how to assess facial balance and apply hyaluronic acid-based fillers with precision and confidence under the guidance of supervising instructors.
- Complete the course with a recognized certification in tissue filler injections.
