Course Overview
The Beginner Course at the American Academy of Cosmetic Medicine is designed for healthcare providers with little to no experience in cosmetic injectables. This comprehensive 10-hour course will introduce you to the fundamentals of neurotoxins and dermal fillers, teaching you how to perform safe and effective injections in common facial areas. You will learn about facial anatomy, the aging process, patient assessment, injection techniques, and pain management strategies. During the hands-on portion, you will practice on live models, administering a minimum of 4 Botox injections and 4 filler injections in different facial areas. This course includes the use of live models, and you will gain immediate before-and-after photos for your portfolio. CE/CME credits are available, and participants will receive a certificate of completion. Additional units of Botox/Dysport and dermal fillers are available for purchase at discounted rates.
What to Expect
