Course Overview
The Botox, Botulinum Toxin, and Dermal Filler training course is a one-day, comprehensive program designed for medical professionals who want to become proficient in administering Botox® (and other botulinum toxins like Dysport®, Xeomin®, Jeuveau®, and Daxxify®) and dermal fillers. This course combines both didactic and hands-on training, focusing on facial anatomy, patient consultation, product reconstitution, injection techniques, and post-treatment care. Participants will engage in a small group setting, ensuring personalized attention. The hands-on portion includes live models and practical experience in areas such as lip enhancement, crow’s feet, and midface volumization. All models, products, and supplies are provided. Participants will receive a Certificate of Training upon completion and earn 9.75 AAFP Prescribed credits. Prerequisites include being a licensed medical professional (MD, DO, NP, PA, RN, DDS, DMD).
What to Expect
- Understand the differences and uses of Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Jeuveau®, and Daxxify® in various aesthetic treatments.
- Gain hands-on experience performing botulinum toxin injections in areas such as the forehead, crow’s feet, and glabellar lines.
