Course Overview
The Chemical Peel Training course offered by the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine is a one-day, intensive hands-on program designed for healthcare professionals looking to expand their skills in skin resurfacing treatments. This course covers a wide variety of chemical peel agents, including Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA), Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Phenol, and various Alpha Hydroxy Acids. Participants will learn essential topics such as basic hair and skin anatomy, skin preparation techniques to minimize complications like pigmentation or scarring, and how to handle contraindications and complications. Special attention will also be given to treating difficult ethnic skin types. The course includes live demonstrations and extensive hands-on practice with guidance from experienced physician instructors. A Certificate of Cosmetic Chemical Resurfacing will be awarded upon completion. Products are provided for training, and live models are used for hands-on experience. CE/CME credits are available. Training is conducted on an individualized or small group basis
