Course Overview
The Complications Management Course by Derma Medical is a one-day, advanced training designed to help medical aesthetic providers identify, prevent, and effectively manage complications related to dermal fillers and botulinum toxin treatments. This course is ideal for licensed injectors who want to strengthen their clinical knowledge, improve patient safety, and feel more confident treating adverse events in their aesthetic practice. Through a mix of theory, case studies, and hands-on experience, this course covers key topics such as vascular occlusion recognition and reversal, nodule and granuloma management, delayed inflammatory reactions, and the appropriate use of hyaluronidase. Attendees will also learn evidence-based protocols for minimizing risk and responding to both common and rare complications, with a focus on early recognition and safe resolution. This training is best suited for experienced injectors (RNs, NPs, PAs, MDs/DOs, Dentists) who have already completed foundation-level filler and toxin courses and are actively treating patients. The course includes live demonstrations, guided practice, and access to Derma Medical’s complication management protocols and resources.
