Course Overview
The Cosmetic Neurotoxin Level 1 course at DCCM Academy is a 10-hour, fully accredited training designed for licensed medical professionals who want to become certified in administering FDA-approved neurotoxins: Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Jeuveau®, and Daxxify®. Led by renowned master injector Dr. Tara Delle Chiaie, the course includes a morning of didactic instruction followed by an afternoon of guided hands-on clinical practice using live patient models and premium injectable product provided at no extra cost. You’ll learn facial anatomy, injection techniques, treatment planning, complication management, and patient safety. Each student treats their own model—no sharing—and receives a detailed manual and 10 CME/CEU hours. This course is ideal for those looking to enter aesthetic medicine with confidence, gain practical experience, and start offering cosmetic neurotoxin treatments right away. No prior aesthetic experience is needed, but an active NH license or eligibility via the NLC is required.
What to Expect
- Inject live patient models using FDA-approved products (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Jeuveau®, and Daxxify®) with genuine product provided at no extra cost, giving you real-world experience treating full facial zones without sharing models.
- Master facial anatomy, dosing, reconstitution, and on-label treatment patterns for upper and mid-face neurotoxin injections, including the forehead, glabellar complex, and crow’s feet.
- Prepare patients effectively by learning how to conduct assessments, manage expectations, identify contraindications, and mitigate complications, ensuring safe and satisfying outcomes.
