Course Overview
If you're a healthcare provider aiming to enhance your skills in cosmetic dermal filler injections, the Dermal Filler Course for Beginners or Refreshers at Gudgel Aesthetics offers a comprehensive 6.5-hour course designed for both beginners and those seeking to refresh their techniques. This hands-on training covers the administration of hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) biostimulators, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHa) biostimulators. You'll focus on areas such as the cheeks, lips, jawline, nasolabial folds, and perioral lines, employing both needle and cannula techniques. The curriculum includes an anatomy review of facial structures—bone, muscle, fat pads, dermis, epidermis, and vascular system—and delves into the mechanisms of action, duration, onset, and expected outcomes of various dermal fillers. You'll also learn strategies for complication management, explore different filler brands and their associated costs, and understand the consultation, charting, and follow-up processes. With a small class size limited to a maximum of five students, the course ensures personalized instruction and ample hands-on practice with live models, allowing you to build confidence in your injection techniques. Please note that while all products are provided during the training, participants are responsible for basic supplies- a list will be provided upon enrollment.
