Course Overview
The Basic BOTOX® and Dermal Filler Certification Class is an 8-hour, in-person training course designed for licensed medical professionals who want to begin offering injectable aesthetic treatments. This comprehensive course covers both botulinum toxins (such as BOTOX®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau®) and dermal fillers (including Juvederm®, Restylane®, Versa®, and RHA®).
The day begins with a lecture that reviews the history and science behind neurotoxins and fillers, facial anatomy relevant to aesthetic injections, proper product selection, injection techniques, and patient consultation. It also addresses contraindications, safety considerations, and how to manage complications. This foundational knowledge is essential for providers entering the aesthetic space.
In the afternoon, participants take part in a hands-on training session where they practice injections under the supervision of experienced instructors. This allows attendees to build confidence and apply what they’ve learned in a clinical setting.
The course is open to physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, and dentists. It is suitable for beginners with no prior injection experience and includes the opportunity to earn CME credits.
