Course Overview
The Academy of Aesthetics offers individualized aesthetics training tailored to healthcare providers aiming to enhance their skills in cosmetic procedures. Led by Megan Davies, a board-certified aesthetics practitioner with over a decade of experience, the courses provide a comprehensive foundation for both novice and advanced injectors. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of various treatments, including dermal fillers and neuromodulators, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols and complication management. The training includes extensive hands-on experience with live models, ensuring practical application of learned techniques. All necessary products and materials are provided during the sessions. Class sizes are intentionally limited to a maximum of three attendees to guarantee personalized instruction and ample practice time. While there are no formal prerequisites, attendees must hold a valid Arizona medical or nursing license and possess professional liability insurance with aesthetics coverage. Continuing Education (CE) or Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits are not specified. What to Expect
- Master safe, effective injection techniques for neuromodulators and dermal fillers by learning proper dosing, facial anatomy, and complication management—including how to dissolve filler—so you can confidently offer these services in your own practice.
- Work directly on live models under expert supervision, allowing you to translate classroom instruction into real-world skill. You’ll perform actual treatments in a closely guided setting, ensuring you’re ready to inject independently after the course.
- Receive personalized, 1:1 or small-group instruction (maximum 3 attendees per session), giving you more time for hands-on practice, individualized feedback, and mentorship that’s tailored to your experience level and goals.
