Course Overview
The Threads 101: Smooth & Twist course at the Texas Institute of Medical Aesthetics (TIMA) is a two-hour training program offering a comprehensive introduction to the use of smooth and twist threads for facial lifting and volumization. This course is designed for medical professionals seeking to expand their skills in aesthetic thread applications through both theoretical instruction and hands-on practice. Participants will receive detailed guidance on patient assessment, product selection, and safe, effective thread placement techniques specific to smooth and twist threads. The hands-on component includes practicing on live models under the direct supervision of experienced instructors. All necessary products for training are provided by TIMA. To participate in this course, you must have a minimum of six months of injection experience and have completed a basic neuromodulator and toxin course with hands-on experience. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. CE/CME credits are not currently offered for this course.
