Course Overview
The Threads 102: Barbed course at the Texas Institute of Medical Aesthetics (TIMA) is a two-hour advanced training program focused on the use of barbed threads for nonsurgical facial lifting and contouring. This course is designed for medical professionals who are ready to expand their expertise in thread lift procedures through in-depth instruction and practical application. Participants will receive comprehensive training in patient assessment, product selection, and precise barbed thread techniques. The hands-on portion includes working on live models under the direct supervision of experienced instructors. All products required for the training are provided by TIMA. To participate in this course, you must have a minimum of six months of injection and cannula experience, and you must have completed both a basic neuromodulator and toxin course as well as a Threads 101 course with hands-on training. Upon successful completion, participants receive a Certificate of Completion. CE/CME credits are not currently offered.
