Introduction to Neurotoxins and Dermal Fillers
The Introduction to Neurotoxins and Dermal Fillers course at Profile Aesthetics is an immersive two-day program designed for medical professionals—such as RNs, FNPs, PAs, DOs, and MDs—who are actively licensed in Arizona or a compact state and are looking to enter the field of aesthetic medicine. Led by Catherine Marben, RN (or another highly skilled and experienced aesthetic trainer), this course offers a blend of comprehensive didactic instruction and hands-on training in a small group setting, ensuring personalized attention and an intimate learning environment. Participants will delve into facial anatomy, client consultation and assessment, aesthetic photography, and the mechanics of FDA-approved neurotoxins and dermal fillers. The curriculum also covers emergency management, business start-up guidance, and practical injection techniques. Attendees will perform live injections on models, with all necessary supplies provided, fostering confidence and competence in administering treatments. Upon completion, participants receive a comprehensive learning manual and a Certificate of Completion. The course also has an option to add private sessions and/or an apprenticeship. CE/CME credits are not currently offered.
Introduction to Dermal Fillers
The Introduction to Dermal Fillers course at Profile Aesthetics is a comprehensive one-day training designed for beginner to intermediate licensed medical providers—including RNs, FNPs, PAs, DOs, and MDs—who are actively licensed in Arizona or a compact state and are looking to expand their expertise in aesthetic medicine. This course offers an in-depth exploration of dermal filler applications, focusing on achieving subtle yet impactful aesthetic results through precise assessment and injection techniques. In a small group setting, participants will engage in detailed didactic sessions covering all aspects of the aesthetic consultation, advanced facial anatomy, facial mapping, injection points, dermal filler brand comparison, rheology, and product selection. The afternoon session provides hands-on experience where attendees will practice assessment and mapping techniques, followed by guided injections using both needle and cannula techniques on live models. All necessary products and supplies are provided to ensure a seamless learning experience. Upon completion, participants will receive a comprehensive Learning Manual and a Certificate of Completion. This course is ideal for those seeking foundational and advanced knowledge in neurotoxin treatments in a small group setting that supports individualized learning. The morning session covers comprehensive didactic instruction, including client consultation and assessment, facial anatomy and musculature, aesthetic photography, neurotoxin brand comparison, reconstitution techniques, and injection site mapping. Advanced anatomy, the mechanism of action, pre-treatment and post-treatment protocols, and an in-depth look at facial aging—including bone structure, skin changes, and the triangle of youth—are also addressed. In the afternoon, participants apply the concepts covered in lecture by practicing mapping and injecting techniques on live models, with all neurotoxin products and supplies provided. This hands-on clinical experience ensures that delegates leave with the practical knowledge and confidence to administer treatments safely and effectively. Participants receive a comprehensive Learning Manual and a Certificate of Completion at the end of the course. CE/CME credits are not currently offered.
